Toyota Hadirkan SUV Legendaris FJ Cruiser |
"Menyadari kebutuhan para pecinta adventure akan kendaraan yang mampu digunakan diberbagai medan off road cukup tinggi. Oleh karena itu, Toyota menghadirkan a tough, strong, and smart work vehicle Toyota FJ Cruiser untuk menjawab kebutuhan para pecinta adventure," kata Joko Trisanyoto, Marketing Director PT Toyota Astra Motor di booth Toyota, Minggu (23/9/2012).
Lebih lanjut Joko menjelaskan, FJ Cruiser merupakan pengembangan dari Toyota. Mulai dari tahun 2000 produk ini mulai dikembangkan. "Baru pada 2007 FJ Cruiser merambah pasar," ujar Joko.
Dari sisi produk, desain eksterior FJ Cruiser memiliki spirit dari FJ 40. Garis body yang terkesan kekar dipadu dengan aksen klasik yang dapat terlihat pada lampu utama dan grille depan. Sama seperti legendanya FJ 40, FJ Cruiser memiliki logo dengan tulisan TOYOTA pada grille depannya.
Selain itu, FJ Cruiser mempunyai kaca yang lebar sama seperti FJ 40. "Atap berwarna putih FJ Cruiser diambil dari tampilan khas FJ 40 klasik yang menggunakan atap fiber-glass berwarna putih," kata Joko.
Untuk desain interiornya, luas dan nyaman sehinggga memberikan pengalaman mengemudi yang nyaman. FJ Cruiser dilengkapi dengan steering wheel dengan audio control, large cargo room yang dilengkapi dengan rubbed cargo mat, yang memungkinkan pengendara untuk memuat banyak barang.
"FJ Cruiser ini didesain dasarnya rekreasi yang adventure, dulu FJ 40 dasarnya perang," ujar Joko.
FJ Cruiser memiliki mesin 4000 cc dual vvt-i. Dapat dibilang mesin tersebut setara dengan 300 tenaga kuda.
Toyota FJ Cruiser hadir dalam dua tipe warna, yakni two tone dan monotone. Two tone memiliki warna yang berbeda untuk roof dan body. Pilihan warna untuk body terdiri dari delapan pilihan, yaitu beige, blue, grey metalik, black, dark green, beige, dan grayish blue dengan roof berwarna putih. Sementara untuk monotone, roof dan body memiliki warna yang sama. Warna yang tersedia yaitu putih dan merah.
Untuk pemasaran FJ Cruiser masih spot order, karena Toyota masih menjajaki pasar. Anda yang berminat harus rela menunggu dua hingga tiga bulan untuk mendapatkan FJ Cruiser. Untuk harga, FJ Cruiser ditawarkan dengan harga mulai dari Rp 900 juta.
